2432 ALKYD Varnished fibreglass cloth is synthetic fabric silk impregnated with oily varnish (ALKYD resin) for Class B (130oC). It has excellent softness, better flexibility, efficient electrical performance and mechanical properties. It is applicable to motor, electrical requirements of thin high dielectric properties of the insulation wrap or insulation gasket. Used as coil insulation for oil-immersed transformers and oil circuit breakers.
The thickness we offer is 0.20 mm. Each roll is weighted 14 to 18 kgs.

minimum one roll (weight approx. 12 to 16 kgs). This product is measured in kilograms, not metres. The reason is that depending on the thickness and for the formulation of the film, the standard grammage density may vary. This means 100 metres of a 0.30 mm film may be heavier than 100 metres of a 0.10 mm film. Not to mention the difficulty in measuring these in metres. Putting a roll of 100 kgs on a scale is definitely faster and more efficient than using a ruler and measure 100 metres of a product. |
| Storage condition: |
Should be stored at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees C, dry, clean and well-ventilated warehouse, must not be near the fire source, heating and by sunlight. It is best kept erect. |
| Outer appearance: |
Uniform lacquer film, no air bubble, no crease, or any other defect. A lacquer film cannot be felt when open. |
| Application: |
It can be used for coil insulation and slot liner electrical machines and appliances with Class B insulation system. The film will not fall out thanks to its moisture and heat resistance characteristics. |
